Our Rec Cheer Program is the perfect introduction for athletes entering the world of cheerleading. Designed for beginners and those looking for a fun, low-commitment experience, this program runs in sessions throughout the year from September to December, January to April, and May to June. Athletes practice once per week for one hour in a supportive and energetic environment, and no tryouts are required to participate.
Throughout each session, athletes will learn and build a full 2-minute routine that they will perform at the end of the session. Routines incorporate key elements of cheerleading, including stunting and pyramids, tumbling and jumps, as well as motions and dance. This program focuses on developing foundational skills, building confidence, and creating a positive team experience.
Registration for Masters Team!
*Also known as the Adult’s team*
No Tryout is required! Practices begin: September 2026
The season runs September through April
This program is perfect for our former athletes looking for a return to the world of cheerleading or any adult looking to learn about being a cheerleader! The masters division is similar to our Novice program, setting goals and standards to ensure we are demonstrating our best skills. This Team practices one to two times a week for 1.5-2 hours. Athletes will learn a 2-minute routine. The masters program however does not need tumbling experience as it is a stunt heavy score sheet, including Jumps, and Dance scores. This team is a fun, semi-competitive team that practices all season to perform at 2 local showcases, as well as 1 competition in Edmonton!
