Financial Assistance For Your Family

We believe strongly that participation in programs at Premier Academy provide far more than just the acquisition of new skills. There are many life lessons and leadership skills that can be learned through our programs.

Unfortunately, participation in programs is not always financially feasible for some families. There are a number of supports available to families to ensure that their participation in programs is more affordable.

Premier Academy Parent Association

The Premier Academy Parent Association is a non-profit organization that provides ongoing fundraising opportunities to members of Premier Academy. All fundraising goes directly to those who are fundraising to help offset the cost of participation in programs at PA.

Each organization provides a variety of fundraising activities from special events, product sales, bottle drives and more. Participation in all of the opportunities is NOT required. You can select which fundraisers you would like to participate in throughout the year.

Membership is required to participate.

KidSport Alberta

Since 1993, KidSport has helped over 965,000 kids across Canada get participate in sport with more than $92 million in registration fees and equipment costs.

Subsidy

Premier Academy Red Deer is a licensed facility-based program and as a result, members registered in our Preschool or Kids Camp programs (PD Days, Holiday Camps, Summer Camps) have access to apply for subsidy through the Alberta Government.

Subsidy rates vary based on the child’s age, family income, the child care program and the number of hours a child attends each month. Types of subsidy include:

– subsidy for children 0 to kindergarten-age (in kindergarten and also attending child care during regular school hours)
– subsidy for children in kindergarten to grade 6 enrolled in a licensed program outside of regular school hours
– preschool subsidy for children enrolled in a licensed preschool program
– extended hours subsidy for children who require care outside regular hours

Jumpstart

Sometimes, families need financial assistance to get their kids into a sport or physical activity. Jumpstart has committed to helping all families access a range of activities, from boxing to bowling and skating to skiing, and more.

By signing below, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms outlined below regarding participation in Premier Academy Parent Association activities.

By participating in PAPA, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms:

1. Non-Profit Organization
Premier Academy Parent Association (PAPA) is a non-profit organization established to provide fundraising opportunities for members of Premier Academy (PA). The sole purpose of fundraising is to help offset the cost of participation in PA programs.

2. Voluntary Participation
Participation in fundraising activities organized by PAPA is entirely voluntary. You are not required to take part in every fundraising opportunity. Throughout the year, you may select the events and activities that best fit your schedule and interests.

3. Fundraising Activities
PAPA may organize various fundraising events, including but not limited to:

Special events
Product sales
Bottle drives
Other fundraising initiatives
You may choose which fundraisers to participate in and contribute your time and effort to.

4. Fund Allocation and Usage
All funds raised through PAPA fundraising activities will be applied directly to your Jackrabbit account at Premier Academy. These funds are meant to help offset the cost of participation in PA programs, including but not limited to:

Tuition fees
Program fees
Other costs associated with PA participation

5. No Cash Refunds
Any funds raised cannot be refunded or returned to you in cash or other forms of payment. All funds will be applied to your Premier Academy Jackrabbit account only, and must be used for program-related costs.

6. Fundraising Credits
Any credits or balances generated through fundraising activities are non-transferable and may not be withdrawn or applied to non-academic, non-program expenses.

7. Code of Conduct
By participating in PAPA, you agree to conduct yourself in a manner that reflects positively on the organization and Premier Academy. This includes adhering to the values of respect, responsibility, and cooperation while participating in fundraising activities.

8. Changes to Fundraising Activities
Premier Academy Parent Association reserves the right to alter or cancel any fundraising event at its discretion. Participants will be notified in a timely manner should such changes occur.

9. Liability
Participation in fundraising activities is at your own risk. Premier Academy and its affiliates are not responsible for any personal injury, loss, or damage that may occur as a result of your participation in fundraising events.

10. Acceptance of Terms
By participating in PAPA fundraising activities, you agree to these terms and conditions. Failure to adhere to these terms may result in the forfeiture of your ability to participate in future fundraising events and loss of any fundraising credits applied to your account.
