Marketing Director

Premier Academy | Bonnyville, Fort McMurray & Red Deer (Remote or In-Gym Option)

Premier Academy is seeking a Marketing Director to lead and oversee marketing efforts across our Bonnyville, Fort McMurray, and Red Deer locations. This role provides strategic leadership, builds scalable marketing systems, and ensures consistent execution across each gym, while supporting and guiding our location-based Marketing Coordinators.

This is a part-time leadership role (approximately 20 hours per week) and may be fully remote or based out of one of our locations, depending on the successful candidate.

Position Overview

The Marketing Director is responsible for the strategy, systems, and accountability of marketing across all Premier Academy locations. While each location has a Marketing Coordinator who handles execution, the Marketing Director ensures consistency, performance, and alignment with organizational goals.

This role focuses on leading people, building systems, and driving results, rather than day-to-day posting.


Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and oversee marketing plans for all locations

  • Align marketing efforts with enrollment, retention, and program goals

  • Identify growth opportunities and campaign priorities

Marketing Systems & Automation

  • Build and maintain centralized marketing systems using NG Engine (Go High Level)

  • Create scalable campaign frameworks, email automations, and workflows

  • Ensure systems are documented and used consistently across locations

Oversight & Accountability

  • Monitor all locations (Bonnyville, Fort McMurray, and Red Deer) to ensure required marketing is completed, including:

    • Social media

    • Email marketing

    • Campaign execution

  • Set expectations and follow up on timelines and deliverables

Team Leadership

  • Lead, support, and mentor Marketing Coordinators at each location

  • Provide training, feedback, and ongoing support

  • Promote consistency, collaboration, and accountability

Reporting & Optimization

  • Track and analyze marketing performance

  • Share insights and recommendations with leadership

  • Continuously improve systems and strategy


Position Details

  • Part-time role: Approximately 20 hours per week

  • Work location: Remote or based out of Bonnyville, Fort McMurray, or Red Deer

  • Optional: Ability to add coaching hours to round out a full-time role (not required)

  • Reports to: Ownership / Executive Leadership

Receptionist

Premier Academy, a vibrant hub of excellence in cheerleading, tumbling, preschool programming, and special events, is in search of a dedicated and personable Receptionist to join our dynamic team for part-time/casual work. As one of the front-end faces of Premier Academy, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring a positive and seamless experience for all our students, parents, and visitors.

Responsibilities:

  • Warmly greet and assist visitors, parents, and students with enthusiasm.
  • Manage incoming calls, providing information about our diverse programs and events.
  • Effectively handle inquiries related to cheerleading, tumbling, preschool programs and other programming.
  • Maintain an organized and inviting reception area that reflects the energy of Premier Academy.
  • Collaborate with program coordinators to coordinate special events and activities.
  • Assist in enrollment procedures, ensuring a smooth onboarding process for new students.

Qualifications:

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with cheerleading, tumbling, or preschool education is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and general office equipment.
  • Strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, and multitasking skills.
  • Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role is advantageous.
  • Positive attitude, enthusiasm, and a commitment to outstanding customer service.

Work Hours: 

  • Must be available to work evenings and Saturdays.
  • This is a part-time position that has the potential of increasing hours.

Tumbling/Cheer Coach

Position: Cheerleading & Tumbling Coach

Start Date: May 2025

Position Details:

We’re looking for passionate and energetic Cheerleading & Tumbling Coaches to join our team at Premier Academy! Our coaches go beyond teaching skills—they instill confidence, build leaders, and create a fun, supportive environment where athletes can grow. If you love working with kids, have experience in cheerleading and tumbling, and are eager to help athletes reach their full potential, we want you on our team!

We have both part-time and full-time positions available. Full-time positions will include additional administrative and coordinator duties.

Hours:

•Part-time: 15 to 20 hours per week.

•Full-time: 30+ hours per week, including coaching and administrative responsibilities.

•Flexible scheduling available between daytime and evening hours, but must have evening and occasional weekend availability for practices, events, and competitions.

•This is an in-person position with all coaching conducted at the gym.

Responsibilities:

Coaching Duties (All Positions):

•Coach athletes in cheerleading and tumbling, ensuring a safe and positive training environment.

•Develop and implement lesson plans for classes, focusing on skill progression and technique.

•Provide constructive feedback and motivation to help athletes reach their personal goals.

•Assist in team choreography, routine preparation, and competition readiness.

•Spot athletes safely in tumbling and stunting progressions.

•Maintain a positive and energetic atmosphere in all classes and practices.

•Communicate with athletes, parents, and staff about progress, events, and program updates.

•Represent Premier Academy at competitions, performances, and community events.

Additional Responsibilities for Full-Time Positions:

•Assist with program coordination, scheduling, and class management.

•Help organize and execute gym events, clinics, and workshops.

•Contribute to marketing efforts, including social media and community outreach.

•Handle administrative tasks such as athlete progress tracking, communication with families, and assisting with registrations.

•Support other gym initiatives and projects as needed to enhance the overall program.

Qualifications:

•Prior experience in cheerleading, tumbling, gymnastics, or a related sport.

•Previous coaching or leadership experience preferred.

•Strong knowledge of proper spotting techniques and skill progressions.

•Positive, energetic, and able to motivate athletes of all ages and skill levels.

•Strong communication and teamwork skills.

•CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).

•Criminal Record Check

•ACA required certifications must be in progress or complete

Must have experience working with various ages and abilities. Experience coaching tumbling/gymnastics or cheerleading IS necessary. Must also be passionate about working with children and making a positive impact in their life.
