BONNYVILLE PROGRAMS

Novice Cheer Program

A fun introduction to cheerleading—no tryout or experience required. Athletes practice once per week for one hour and learn a two-minute routine featuring stunts, pyramids, tumbling, jumps, motions, and dance. Teams perform at an end-of-session event.

Sessions: September–December, January–April
Cost: $89 + GST/month
Registration Fee: $75+GST
Note: Athletes ages 3–5 must be fully potty trained.

Prep Cheer Program

The next step between Novice and Elite. No tryout is required, but previous Rec or Novice experience—or an evaluation—is recommended. U8 and older athletes practice twice per week for 1.5–2 hours and compete at three to four events within Alberta.

Season: September–April
Commitment: Similar to Elite; practices are mandatory and tumbling training is highly recommended.
Membership: Charged at registration and non-refundable.

Elite & Elite Plus Cheer Program

Our highest-level competitive programs are designed for focused and dedicated athletes. Teams practice twice per week for two hours and compete a 2–2½-minute routine at four to five events throughout the season.

Season: June–April
Required Camps: Super Camp in June, Skills Camp in July, and Choreography Camp in August
Travel: Elite teams may attend one out-of-province competition; Elite Plus teams will attend one.
Commitment: Practices are mandatory. Tumbling training is highly recommended for Elite and mandatory for Elite Plus.
